Yesterday

Just another day I thought.

As usual there was a crowd at the bus stop. Nothing new, happens everyday. After a few minutes, a brownish golden coloured bus pulled up and everyone scrambled to get in. Without giving it a second thought, I followed suit.

The first sign something was wrong was that the bus driver didn't ask for any money nor issue a ticket to anyone. Looking back, I realise what a dumbass I am because my first thoughts were "Yay! Free bus ride!" -__-

10 minutes in I knew I was screwed. The bus turned out to be an express bus... straight to SEREMBAN! WTF!

Half an hour later our bus passed an overhead sign that said "Goodbye! Please Come Again!" I officially exited KL! Woohoo!

After a while, the bus stopped at one of those toll collection checkpoint thingys. A horizontally challenged Malay conductor came on and I told him my plight. He laughed, shook his head and asked me to get off the bus and wait for him. So I did. The first thing I saw in a distance was... Mines Wonderland. OMG where was I? I mean I've heard of the place and wanted to check it out while I was in KL, fake snow and all, but NOT LIKE THIS!

Turns out I was at the Sungai Besi checkpoint, wherever that is. The conductor then told me to wait for him till his shift ends, which was around 7 and follow him back to KL. He was very friendly and chatty, which was a relief. I believed him when he said I was lucky that he was on duty, not some other fella. Anyone else would've just issued a ticket to Seremban and asked me to find my own way back. LOL now that would've made my day.

After he got off work, we crossed to the other side, dodging cars as they came. Then we sat at the side of the road and talked while we waited for the bus to go back. I was glad for his company and help, he really saved my ass. To thank him, I handed him RM20. He took one look, said it's too much and returned me RM10. Somemore he said it's to cover the express bus fare only. WAH... this guy is a pure good samaritan I tell you. This world would be a much better place if there were more people like him.

Anyways the return bus stopped near Pasar Seni Station and I got on the next LRT home. Not before sticking in the wrong ticket into the machine first. Aih should've just bought a Touch'n'Go... why KL so many different tickets for everything one? With "Visit Malaysia Year 2007" coming up, I can't wait to see all the confused tourists.

And to cap off the day, I walked into a glass door at the cyber cafe. BANG... followed by a stream of blood above my eye. Heh isn't the first time and doubt it will be the last >.<
